Shaping Up [family/Jasmine/Draco]

Indago sat atop a desk, black hair falling into her eyes. Her cane was leaning against the desk beside her, bad leg resting across the desk's surface. She thought about how the ministry was attempting to tear apart Lily, Christina, Pansy, Simon and herself. Perhaps it was her... Maybe if she could shape up a little, then they might leave them alone... She conjured a mirror from nowhere, then got to work.

*15 minutes later*

Indago barely recognized herself. She knew who was reflecting the image in the mirror's surface, but, she looked different. She had decided to try being a blonde for now. Her eyes were still bright blue, she couldn't change that so much... She'd given a nicer, slightly tanned look to her skin and shrunk her robes to the correct size. She still wasn't sure what to think about what she'd done... She slid off the desk, leaning on her cane and began to walk to the door, just as it was starting to creak open...

Draco walked in and saw a girl he didn't know. The general look of the face was familiar, but she wasn't anybody he knew. "I'm sorry to disturb you." he said, then turned around and began walking toward the door.

"Wait! Draco! It's me, Indago!" Indago said. She knew she would have to say something to make sure he'd know she was telling the truth... "My favorite colors are green and navy, my favorite ice cream flavor is Strawberry-Chocolate-Chunk. I can use telepathy, I control water, I'm an animagus that turns into a tiger, I can use telikinesis and I'm a parseltounge!" Indago declared, hoping Draco would believe her.

Draco turned and paused. It was her, the eyes, they were the same vivid blue... Everything she'd said was true... "Indago? You look very pretty." he said, walking to her and placing an arm around her shoulders.

Indago smiled and blushed, then straightened Draco's tie, allowing her hand to rest on his shoulder. "I'm not the only good-looking one in this room." Indago pointed out, in a sexy, flirty tone.

Draco smirked gently and they leaned in closer. Their lips met, he softly pulled Indago in more closely. He found his fingers in Indago's newely blonde hair. It was quite soft...

Her cane fell to the floor with a clatter. Indago leaned slightly on Draco as they kissed more passionately. Her hands on his chest, she gently pulled away, laying her head on his shoulder.

Draco smiled, then began to stroke Indago's hair, swaying softly. "Would you like to go to the Start-of-Term Dance with me?" Draco asked, the dance would be held the next evening.

Indago paused for a moment. "I don't know how much dancing I'll be able to do with my leg, but there's no one else in the world I'd rather go with." she said softly, removing her head from Draco's shoulder, looking around for her cane.

Liy was concealed in the shadows. She couldn't stand it anymore. She collapsed to the ground in laughter. Love was so cheesy!

Indago looked over her shoulder, seeing Lily. "Oh, don't act like you haven't done anything." Indago said in her own defense, cheeks a little pink tinged.

Draco smiled, ah, the innocence of youth... He drew his wand and summond Indago's cane and handed it over to her.

"I dont flirt in empty classrooms when asked on a date, I actually talk with him in public" She defended herself and leaned on the wall.

Indago cocked an eyebrow. "Sometimes things are best left in private." Indago said, in a tone as if that settled the matter. She didn't feel like backing up her arguement any farther.

Lily scrunched her nose at her thought. She blocked her thoughts. The evil pasrt of her hissed, Does she think going bottle blonde will keep the ministry from noticing 3 kids and a little sister who was....you know what....?
At least she's trieing Defended her good side.
"Both of you shut up" Lily said sternly
